The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit memo process, ensuring timely escalation resolution, communicating with our internal and external customers, and assuming the lead for all invoice related initiatives.  The ideal candidate will enjoy technology, devise solutions to problems, and collaborate with individuals across multiple functions to drive change.

Hybrid Position: 3 Days per Week Onsite - Wilsonville, OR

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for ensuring timely resolution of billing escalations from the collection teams, meeting SLAs, and communicating statuses to customers.
  • Research SFDC and SAP to resolve billing issues. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for electronic billing and all special customer requests.
  • Ensuring accurate billing email addresses are created for all customers.
  • Submit credit memo requests for billing issues raised by Customer Support, Sales, and Collections.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end process of submitting credit memos through emailing to the customer.
  • Participate in all billing testing for company initiatives.
  • Ensure collection teams are kept up to date on outstanding billing issues.
  • Prepare customer statement reconciliation inquiries.
  • Verification of updates in SFDC (VAT tax exemptions, sales tax exemptions, billing address and PO verification).
  • Document billing processes, recommend process improvements and automation.
  • Participate in the cross functional meetings with Customer Support, raising outstanding issues, driving to determine root cause and resolution.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 2+ years in accounting, general ledger, bookkeeping, account reconciliation and tax experience
  • 2+ years experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle and SFDC
  • SAP billing and reporting experience a plus
  • Ability to objectively analyze established processes and recommend and implement new policies and procedures
  • Advanced Excel skills such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
  • Collaborate internally and externally with other business units and establish strong working relationships
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail oriented
  • Strong technical, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience working with offshore teams
