Twist Bioscience is looking for an ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) analyst. Reporting to the Sr VP, Corporate Affairs, the ESG Analyst will work to develop the foundation and implementation of Twist’s environmental, social, and governance strategy and work closely across the organization with an ESG committee.

Responsibilities:

  • Research content and analyze emerging ESG issues and trends
  • Develop the ESG reporting strategy and program implementation
  • Represent Twist Bioscience as a credible thought leader at conferences, external events, and strategic client meetings
  • Develop ESG analytical models
  • Maintain support for ESG publicly reported data
  • Continuous monitoring of ESG metrics and data to assess risks 
  • Identify and report emerging ESG trends to team and executive leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a related field (investment research, financial services, consulting, sustainability or policy research)
  • Plus if direct prior experience in sustainability-related role
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Proven collaboration skills working with external and internal partners 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong presence when publicly presenting
  • Experience with content and communication creation for high level stakeholders
  • Expertise in ESG issues and trends 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
