Collaborate with stake holders and the development team to produce software requirements/user stories
Design, implement, automate and execute test cases, test procedures, and test suites
Author test plans and reports - develop a schedule and allocate test resources for verification efforts
Perform integration and regression testing, as well as ad-hoc testing during development cycle
Develop external tools to aid feature testing
Find, track, produce detailed documentation of bugs and issues found during testing.
Work closely with the development team to effectively identify and resolve issues discovered during testing
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the software architecture
Provide the team with timely and accurate QA status and progress during all project testing phases
Define and implement relevant Product Quality metrics
Ensure proper configuration management of test management software and requirements traceability
Responsible for software upgrade for production systems
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
Experience working with electromechanical systems (sensors/motor stages/actuators/cameras/etc) required
Experience working as part of a high performance team on time sensitive projects
Experience with negative and edge case testing
Experience with JIRA management and administration of bug-tracking software
Experience Squish or other automation software is a plus
Experience with Python and/or C# is a strong plus.
