Twist is seeking an exceptional Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Finance and Administration team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support accounting, financial records, and reporting activities for our US and international operations.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for all the accounts receivable related administrative functions, including contacting delinquent customers to secure payment, assisting with printing and mailing of invoices or statements, reviewing account histories with customers, and posting payments, credit memos and adjustments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work closely with the sales team to set up customer information.
Input customer invoice billing in SAP.
Perform on occasion customer credit check activities.
Prepare bank deposits, cash receipts and credit card payments.
Research and resolve discrepancies on open receivables.
Prepare and send invoices to customers on an ongoing basis, ensuring that invoices are accurate and complete.
Analyzes unbilled transactions and discrepancies and ensure timely invoicing.
Monitor payments from customers and help with the collection activities.
In a timely manner, updates the financial system and other systems/reports with changes to ensure accurate, complete and updated information is readily available.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
AA/AS in Accounting plus 3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivables
Proven track record of performing accounts receivables analysis and reporting as normally obtained through several years of professional level experience in which incumbents worked with statements, bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, credit and collection, or customer services
Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures is required to perform the essential functions
Engage with external and internal customers in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner
Good verbal and written communication skills, including a team-based orientation to support and participate in Finance team projects and goals
Analytical skills and excellent attention to detail with ability to remain organized and focused
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
