About the job

This position is needed to manage and grow a team of passionate data quality analysts and collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers to develop clean and accurate data needed by anti-fraud/ anti-abuse systems.

The Data Quality Manager will also be responsible for defining data quality and management best practices and work to embed them within the organization for long-term success.


In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage employee career development by providing coaching and mentoring to junior data quality analysts while guiding senior contributors to maximize their potential. Provide continuous performance feedback, collaborate with employees on their objectives and provide a clear path for progression through personal development plans.
  • Serve as a first level of contact for the DQ Analysts when they encounter issues/challenges with operations teams.
  • Collaborate on roadmaps with Product Managers and Tech Leads to ensure the team has clear direction and priorities. Ensure there is cross-training and a healthy balance between automation and deliverables.
  • Serve as the DQ analyst team’s Scrum Master, breaking down roadblocks as well as managing communications with stakeholders and dependent teams. Create a culture of continuous improvement through retrospection.
  • Develop and manage training materials, data labelling run-books and various data governance modules. 
  • Provide analytical support to Engineering and Product Management by publishing Excel/QlikView/QlikSense reports. 
  • As a member of the Engineering Management team, foster leadership principles and behaviors throughout the organization to groom the next generation of leaders.
  • Act as an ambassador for Twilio, recruiting and motivating top talent.

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree from reputed University in Computers, IT or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Quality Management projects with hands-on experience in relevant technologies like Informatica or equivalent ETL tools, SQL or PL/SQL; 6+ years and a Master’s degree
  • Experience of creating processes and delivering services by using tools such as data mapping, data and business flow diagrams
  • Experience of training staff on the use of good business process and the technology used to deliver process (from an end user perspective)
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in creating reports and dealing with large volume of data
  • Good understanding of Master Data and Data governance concepts 


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (for internal liaison and influencing). 
  • GDPR knowledge.



This role will be based in our Bangalore, India office. Approximately <10% travel is anticipated.
