About the job
This position is needed to help an existing engineering team build and maintain highly reliable and scalable cost management and tracking systems that help Twilio control and optimize its SMS supply network.
In this role, you’ll:
- Work in a small, high-impact, hardworking engineering team
- Build and operate your team's services in a production environment in the DevOps model
- Collaborate with your Tech Lead and other Software Engineers to tackle complex problems in distributed computing
- Live and champion high-quality software engineering through writing tests, valuing code maintainability, documenting your work, etc
- Apply Agile methodologies to continuously deliver value to the customers

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of software development experience in Java or Scala.
- Experience in at least one of the cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Passion about code quality and software development best practices
- Basic knowledge of Linux-based systems
- Experience with agile processes, continuous integration, and test automation
- Interest in or experience with communications, telephony systems, and/or finance
This role will be based in our Tallinn, Estonia office.
