About the job

This position is needed to build new features which add value to Twilio’s growing number of enterprise customers. Building solutions across products to address the unique challenges of larger enterprises and giving a better onboarding, compliance and customer experience.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build an enterprise grade platform which helps enterprise customers to build, operate and manage Twilio solutions across departments. 
  • Own and create intuitive, fluent and responsive user interfaces. Build fast-rendering reusable and extendable front-end components using React.
  • Build a reliable, compliant and trusted customer engagement platform which will operate in a highly scalable distributed production environment.
  • Collaborate with the talented global team including the product manager to design and review the solutions to deliver a great front end Enterprise experience our customers will love.

Required:

  • 5+ years of software development experience with cloud application development
  • Front end engineer with exposure to ReactJS or equivalent front end technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with build patterns common to web technology stacks
  • Successful track record of delivering and maintaining reliable, scalable, traceable and performant distributed systems to customers in a production cloud environment
  • Extensive experience with building and using REST APIs

Desired:

  • Experience with:
    • Java with experience in multi-threaded programming
    • Agile development and is comfortable decomposing complex problem statements
  • Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent)
  • Production experience using Amazon Web Services
  • Distributed in-memory datastore (Redis, Memcached, Hazelcast or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - You are confident in writing down and presenting your designs and decisions throughout the development lifecycle. You are also comfortable providing and receiving feedback in an Agile environment 

Job Location 

This role will be based in our Bengaluru, India office.
