Twilio is hiring an M&A Manager to develop a strategy to integrate vendors and deals through acquisitions. You will also work closely with the Twilio M&A Integration team and functional leaders across Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Finance and Business teams. When there is low M&A activity, you will assume responsibility as a Manager in Corporate categories  

Who?

Twilio is looking for an M&A Leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has experience working within a cloud, API, communication, enterprise or software environment and demonstrated track record of leading successful, large-scale, complex cross-functional integrations from a sourcing & procurement perspective. You are or have:

  • 7+ years of relevant Strategic Sourcing, Procurement experience in HR, G&A, Facilities, Sales & Marketing experience, preferably at a leading technology company with 1-2 years’ experience in M&A Integration
  • Strong technical background in Strategic Sourcing in Category Management (HR,Contingent Labor, Professional Services, Facilities/REW, Marketing, Professional Services, etc.) 
  • A natural problem-solver and strategic thinker. You lead inclusive, rigorous, efficient and creative problem solving on complex issues related to integrations - leading to a clear set of so-whats, conclusions and recommendations and supported by rigorous analytics
  • A cross-functional collaborator: You are able to develop strategy for integration along with IMO and PM teams 
  • An end-to-end operations-mindset: You are able to coordinate with accounting, finance and business stakeholders to streamline financial operations
  • Process-oriented: Able to develop sourcing playbook and frameworks for due diligence prior to acquisitions 
  • Detail-driven: Able to review legal contract language and synthesize key legal and commercial issues for sourcing integration 
  • Action-oriented: Able to translate integration recommendations to results by developing synergy waves and executing on action plans

What?

As the M&A Manager, you will analyze and execute on the Sourcing plan as it relates to the integration of acquired companies. This includes reviewing and assessing all vendor legal contracts,  spend reports and drive negotiations. You will live the Twilio Magic values:

  • NO SHENANIGANS: You will quickly identify key contract terms that need to be moved over or negotiated and ensure the flawless execution of that 
  • BE INCLUSIVE: Work closely with legal and information security teams to review drafts of contracts and ensure the complaint process is followed in accordance with procurement policy
  • BE AN OWNER: Engage with Sourcing Managers and Procurement Team and integration managers from IT, Finance, Accounting, Tax & Legal as needed to identify issues or roadblocks
  • WRITE IT DOWN: Jointly develop the integration strategy with Strategic Sourcing Team
  • DRAW THE OWL: Identify process improvements and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness and quality of Sourcing integration

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro: $82,496.00-$113,432.00

Rest of Colorado:$78,184-99,253.00

 Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
