Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Video SDKs team, which enables developers to build rich and engaging WebRTC-based media experiences. The SDKs you build will have the audience of 2M+ developers building with Twilio. These SDKs power millions of conversations between users across the globe, on endpoints spanning all the modern browsers and mobile platforms.

Who?

Twilio is looking for a C++ and Android Video SDKs Staff Software Engineer who lives the Twilio Magic, and also:

  • You are comfortable with C++, multi-threading and advanced debugging
  • You have Android development experience 
  • You have experience with WebRTC or a comparable media stack
  • You have experience with Network Protocols (HTTP, WebSockets)
  • You are passionate about developing SDKs, designing APIs, and delivering an excellent developer experience
  • You have 5+ years of experience with software development, lifecycle, and processes
  • You are creative, dedicated and you get things done.

Bonus:

  • Experience in writing cross-platform C++ SDKs for Linux, macOS, iOS, Android
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration
  • iOS development experience
  • Experience with Media Protocols (RTP/RTCP)

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $132,928- $182,776

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $116,312- $159,929

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
