The Who, What, Why and Where
Have you built, enhanced and maintained automation frameworks and tools using established development processes? Do you have a proven track record of innovating and collaborating to obtain and discern requirements for such tools? If you have this background, Twilio provides an exciting opportunity to work with technologies such as Golang, AWS, Buildkite and Kubernetes to design cutting edge automation frameworks and infrastructure to verify complex SaaS business systems. In this role, you are expected to develop and implement solutions for complex systems as a member of an engineering team. You will also be expected to evaluate and analyze new technology and software for feasibility, impact, and viability.
Twilio is looking for an engineer with a demonstrated track record of being a part of successful Agile engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience as an automation engineer
- Proficient in 1 or more programming languages
- Proficient in Quality Assurance testing techniques
- Ability to translate architecture vision into concrete system designs
- Proficient in a unix shell environment
- Passion for quality code and products
As a software development engineer in test, you will:
- Closely collaborate with delivery teams and other stakeholders to support projects and decisions
- Design and build automation frameworks and tools from the ground up
- Work as a member of a high performing Agile team
- Champion the quality of the team by aiding in testing and reviewing code
- Aid in and improve deployment and build processes
The Accounts and Billing team at Sendgrid Twilio is critical to everything we do as a company. We spearhead microservice development and operability using the latest distributed systems programming techniques and technologies.
