Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Software Engineer to be a key contributor in building next generation of Twilio’s billing system. This role will be working with high scale, high availability systems dealing with billing events, Invoices, Taxes and other related items.
Twilio is looking for a software engineer with:
- Successful track record of delivering solutions to complex problems.
- Experience working with high scale, high velocity systems.
- Experience developing in Java/Scala/Python.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in backend engineering
- Ability to collaborate and communicate well with technical and non-technical team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Nice to have: Experience with data processing using Apache Spark
- Nice to have: Experience building part of Billing System.
As Software Engineer you will:
- Help develop and enhance billing system at Twilio
- Work on complex systems like Taxation, Invoicing, Usage Aggregation
- Provide hands-on coding
- Collaborate within the org and cross functional team to define new features.
As a member of Billing Platform team you will have direct impact on Twilio’s revenue. You will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing systems aggregating usage across Twilio; applying taxes and generating Invoices for the usage.
