Opportunity Overview 

TuSimple is looking for a motivated and energetic Recruiting Coordinator to lead daily administrative operations for the technical recruiting team.

The mission of this role is to provide both the candidates and hiring managers the best possible experience.   This Recruiting Operations will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of service.  Tasks will include working heavily with HRIS and Recruiting Systems, scheduling code reviews & interviews, reviewing applicants with the executive committee, co-leading candidate hiring debrief meetings, advising hiring teams on new operations and transformations, participating and leading special projects, and other recruiting coordination/operations tasks as required.  

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new hire candidate engagement from "offer accepted" stage to their "start date"   This includes all duties assigned as it relates to on-boarding new applicants. 
  • Collaborate with Recruiting IT, HR & Immigration to ensure onboarding process tasks are complete.
  • Accountable for the candidate experience from offer acceptance to start date. 
  • Complete new start date request check lists.
  • Serves as a friendly and dependable contact to candidates who have questions or concerns.  Direct them to the appropriate resources for assistance.
  • Ensures new hire pre-boarding/on-boarding information is updated.  Ensure the data is accurately reported in the ATS. 
  • Maintains composure and confidence  professionally required to handle all HR activities and executive optics and communications. 
  • Over communicate with all parties and act as the central point of all on-boarding escalations.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA
  • 1-5 years of recruiting operations or coordination experience.
  • Strong understanding of software and systems. 
  • Disposition for organization, critical thinking, problem solving and independent work. 
  • Excellent understanding working with software and systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.  
  • MS-Office or G-Suite experience required (we're on G-Suite).
  • A desire to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
