Opportunity Overview 

We are looking for a talented Autonomous Vehicle System Operator with experience in computer software and hardware as well as technical documentation to join our team! This position operates stable software versions of autonomous vehicle software to collect telemetry and other autonomous data. This position is a night shift. Start times may vary.

Role Responsibilities

• Communicates with Drivers about vehicle function; calling out any anomalies or irregular behavior to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
• Responsible for finding and reporting bugs or glitches within stable software.
• Participates in reviewing trip data with software and testing teams to ensure software updates address known issues with stable software versions.
• Responsible for physically transporting hard drives to the next available transfer team, ensuring chain of custody to ensure the data is returned to the Testing Facility
• Assists the driver in guiding physical movements of trucks to docks or trailers

Experience & Skills Required

• 1-2 years as a Software Quality Assurance Tester, Game Tester or similar role
• Courses or knowledge in Computer Science preferred
• Autonomous system testing and support experience a plus
• Adaptability to changing systems and workflows
• Eager to learn new technologies

• Primarily works in the cab of a commercial vehicle in all weather conditions
• May occasionally work in an office setting
