Opportunity Overview 

We are looking for a talented Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer (Part Time) with experience in computer software and hardware as well as technical documentation to join our team! You will record any technical notes and tag events as they occur. You will be working alongside autonomous vehicle operators monitoring, troubleshooting and documenting the performance of the autonomous system.  

Role Responsibilities

• Communicating schedule and limitations with team manager
• Ability to perform and complete data collection requests
• Execute TO tasking requirements and feedback documentation
• Display the correct truck system bringup and shutdown procedures
• Identify, escalate, and resolve issues with processes and tools.
• Epic, Golden, Feature testing (minimal complexity)
• Tagging events and severity for triage and troubleshooting

Experience & Skills Required

• Some education (Bachelor's preferred) in IT, Computer Science, STEM or a related field
• Experience in Linux (Ubuntu) as an user
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to triage simultaneous requests
• Autonomous system testing and support experience a plus
• Adaptability to changing systems and workflows
• Eager to learn new technologies

Planned Schedule

• Friday-Sunday, about 16-20 hours per week. Flexibility required.
