Job Description

The Heavy Truck Technician will be a key part of our Integration Engineering team. They will work on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems on Navistar tractors. They will identify and correct  root cause issues, among other tasks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify root cause of truck issues
  • Troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Validation and testing of autonomous driving fleet
  • Other duties as required

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working on heavy trucks - Navistar preferred
  • Experience is troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanics
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics and follow work instructions
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • CDL A or B is preferred
