This position is responsible for supporting calibration operation and test operation using calibration applications (include but are not limited to calibration programs and quality assurance tools), assisting engineering teams for deployment and troubleshooting, and developing processes. The role requires interfacing with operations and engineers.
Because Application Engineers operate at the intersection of the engineering, operations and manufacturing teams, they must possess strong communication abilities, excellent reasoning skills and the capacity to facilitate teamwork across departments.
Training and educating operations
Providing operations’ feedback to engineers
Assisting engineers in test support and documentation
Organizing computational resource such as PCs, switches, and other devices
Managing inventory of calibration tools such as calibrations boards
Familiar with different sensors, including but not limited to camera, LiDAR, GNSS/IMU, radar and ultrasonic, knowledge of their working pattern, limitations and applications.
Familiar with sensor calibration includes both intrinsic and extrinsic calibration, knowledge of the process and underlying methodologies in certain levels.
Able to read and write scripts to help troubleshooting and analysis
Having good communication skills to precisely understand and deliver requirements
Having good organization skills to sort out documentations, computational devices and calibration tools.

2+ year of industry-specific experience
Able to develop programs to improve operation’s working efficiency
