We are seeking an Electronics Technician to assist in the development, debug and test of various electronic and electro-mechanical systems and assemblies for our Autonomous Truck. The Electronics Technician will work with Engineering in the support of development projects and with Production to test and debug current products with field issues.
System integration and troubleshooting autonomous driving system.
Support other engineering disciplines and other functional areas within the company to ensure program success.
Participates in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
Associates or Technical Certification in Electronics or similar.
Minimum 5 years experience in electronics environment or contract manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Excellent soldering, reworking and electronics fabrication skills of SMT and PTH printed circuit board assemblies.
Strong troubleshooting skills to the component level on electronic modules.
Skill using test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
Skill building test fixture and electronics circuit prototypes and wiring harness.
General computer knowledge - Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Pride in quality and craftsmanship.
Self-driven and ability to work independently.
Willingness to work hard and flexible on work schedule.
Checking schematic symbols, PC footprints, list, and Gerber files
