Job Description


As an IT Specialist, you will be the initial point of contact for all IT service requests. You’ll offer support to users and troubleshoot any problems that arise working mainly from IT tickets submitted from internal users. Additionally, you will be working on implementation of IT projects for a quickly expanding infrastructure. The IT specialist will keep an accurate accounting of IT inventory and insure consumable components are constantly stocked. As new problems are solved and new skills learned you will contribute to the IT knowledge base sharing what you’ve learned with the IT team. You will produce step by step how to documents for users on setting up new or existing services.




  • Update IT service tickets daily and ensure ticket resolution remains within IT SLA
  • Installs and supports hardware/software and computer peripherals and network printers
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the IT systems and deployments
  • Triage incidents and route information to proper escalation point
  • Keep IT knowledge base up to date
  • Participates in a portfolio of IT Support and Infrastructure initiatives from architecture through production and support processes
  • Maintains inventory of all IT assigned equipment
  • Provides hands-on support both on-site and off-site
  • Maintains IT storage in orderly fashion
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel



  • Experience building and troubleshooting hardware problems
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments. Linux Preferred
  • Basic network troubleshooting - DHCP / DNS, wifi, firewall
  • Experience with endpoint security
  • Experience with computer imaging solutions and creating images
  • A team player that can control and manage their work proactively
  • Willingness and ability to ingest new technologies at blazing speed. Passion for your job is a plus.
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders as well as geographical areas (virtually, and sometimes physically).
  • Well organized with a penchant for documentation
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional travel required up to 10%
