Job Responsibilities
We’re seeking an exceptional Scrum Master for our Turing Teams division, a rapidly expanding business offering managed teams of engineers to enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development and project management, with a focus on leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint review/demo, and retrospective for multiple cross-functional teams
  • Coaching teams on Agile/Scrum values, principles, and techniques to foster continuous improvement and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with program goals and customer needs
  • Communicating technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of project status, risks, and dependencies
  • Managing project commitments, establishing clear accountability chains, and escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution
  • Leveraging Jira and other tools to collect and analyze team-level metrics, providing transparency and insights into project progress and performance
  • Supporting global remote teams by facilitating communication, collaboration, and coordination across different time zones and cultural contexts
  • Adapting to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

 

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, with a demonstrated understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices
  • 12-15 years of overall experience in complex tech projects involving software engineering and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Thorough understanding of Cloud technologies and IT operations, particularly in the context of engineering and software development
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and technical skills, with the ability to facilitate teamwork, negotiation, and decision-making
  • Experience in Openstack

We’re especially excited if you have:

  • Experience building and launching consumer software products for web, mobile platforms
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities in an energizing environment
  • Customer relationship skills including the ability to:
    • Discover true requirements and underlying feature requests
    • Recommend alternative technical and business approaches
    • Lead engineering efforts to meet bold timelines with optimal solutions
  • A deep understanding of the SDLC and consistent record of achieving program objectives on schedule, on budget and meeting quality criteria
  • A Strong sense of ownership and accountability for program success
  • Certification as a Scrum Master, PMP/Prince2, or equivalent
