We are looking for a Demand Planning & Inventory Allocation Senior Associate who will be responsible for supporting the day to day inventory allocation and assist in the monthly processes of forecast generation and S&OP management. This role is on the Finance and Operations team reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Demand Planning. TULA headquarters are based in Nomad in New York City (but we are of course working remotely for now!)


  • Assist and monitor how Tula sales are tracking on inventory coverage targets across all skus in the brand portfolio to ensure that we’re proactively addressing either future service risks or potential excess inventory
  • Reconcile short term demand plan (day to day and within 4 weeks) versus incoming customer orders and adjust as necessary
  • Support the Senior Manager of Demand Planning in the process of creating the forecast across our primary sales channels (Tula.com, Ulta, Amazon) as well as other smaller channels within our Demand Planning software (Demand Caster)
  • Work cross functionally with stakeholders across Influencer Marketing, Product Marketing, Retail Sales, and Ecommerce teams to gather key insights and information pertinent to the forecast
  • Maintain weekly weeks of coverage report to monitor inventory levels and share with internal teams / management
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Demand Planning in preparation for the monthly S&OP Meeting as well as Channel Forecast Alignment meetings
  • Maintain KPI reporting for forecasting metrics as well as develop other KPI reporting as needed
  • Collaboration with the Production Planning, Warehouse Operations, and Retail Operations teams to ensure that all material changes to the forecast are properly communicated and actioned upon in a timely manner
  • Weekly monitoring of data within DemandCaster
  • Review inbound retail orders to ensure that we’re in line with the forecast and we have inventory to fulfill
  • Collaborate with Production Planning on inventory needs for assemblies, e.g., kits


  • 2+ years of experience in Consulting, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain or Business Operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets required
  • Experience with ERP and Demand Planning Software (DemandCaster and NetSuite are a plus)
  • Left brain / right brain - the ability to utilize  data driven decision-making alongside creativity and gut feeling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Talent for communicating with all key stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Ability to problem solve and find solutions independently
  • Must be a proactive team player with strong skills communicating with key stakeholders across multiple departments
