Director of Brand Marketing 

Overview

Develop & help ensure successful execution of 360 degree marketing plans for TULA Skincare across all consumer touchpoints.  This experienced Director will be working in a fast paced, creative environment that offers an opportunity to be part of building a rapidly growing brand.  This role is on the Brand Marketing team, reporting directly to the VP of Brand Marketing. TULA headquarters are based in New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with VP of Brand Marketing to develop our brand strategy, ensuring TULA skincare is a differentiated, top of mind skincare brand in the short & long term
  • Develop & help oversee execution of 360 degree marketing campaigns for new product launches & core product portfolio to increase brand awareness, drive new customer acquisition and hit aggressive revenue growth targets
  • Facilitate creative brainstorming and strong cross-functional collaboration across PR & Partnerships, Social, Influencer, Creative, Retail, Digital/Ecommerce & Product Development
  • Develop positioning, messaging, copy & content for TULA brand and products on tight timelines
  • Project manage all brand marketing campaigns end to end, continually pitching in to help execute
  • Support VP Sales in development of 360 retail marketing campaigns, specific to retailer needs; includes management / execution of support materials (e.g., retailer specific product launch plans, artwork, collateral, digital assets, merchandising) to ensure continuity of brand messaging and experience across retail channels
  • Conceive, pitch, negotiate, and manage brand marketing partnerships end to end to introduce TULA to new customers and enhance our brand positioning, e.g., sampling box partnerships
  • Support key brand moments including events and pop-ups
  • Identify actionable consumer insights, competitive analysis and category trends

Qualifications

  • 7 - 10 years of brand marketing experience, beauty preferred
  • Are a quick-thinking, creative, hands-on, organized, problem-solver
  • Have impeccable written communication skills, especially as it relates to brand storytelling
  • Have good eye for smart, innovative, effective ways to excite & engage consumers
  • Strong project management, cross-functional communication & influencing skills
  • Experience in ecommerce & retail
  • Have the ability to analyze performance data and drive actionable next steps
  • Have a desire to flourish in fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit
