Responsibilities:

    • Provide quality Trading and Executive VIP end-user support in a fast-paced financial environment.
    • Provide the highest level of a technological concierge service for the principals of the company.
    • Ensure operational readiness of all end-user IT equipment (desktops, laptops, ipads)
    • Maintain hardware inventory
      • Imaging, setup, and deployment of Desktop Computers and PC Peripherals.
      • Support, troubleshooting, repair or replacement of PC Hardware
      • Software upgrades, Security agents, AV definitions, Microsoft patches
    • Conduct occasional offsite visits for Executives and remote equipment setups.
      • Performance bi-yearly maintenance visits to remote offices/properties.
      • Handle upgrades of hardware and operating systems (images) at properties concerning business
    • Maintain IT equipment for Aviation Travel
    • Notify management of IT security risks and advise suggested actions
    • Monitor and escalate network related issues for remote properties
    • Maintain Audio/Visual systems for Video Conferencing / UC Experience
      • Setup weekly meetings via Video Conference band Screen Content Sharing.
      • Streamline internal and external-facing conferences (Board Meetings, Speaking engagements)
    • PC software installations and support for Microsoft applications, internal applications, Bloomberg, Reuters, and other market data applications.
    • Virtual Machine deployments and management
    • Troubleshooting and remediation of software related issues via Service Now ticketing system.
    • Support and Deployment of standard corporate Mobile Devices.
    • Develop and improve strong customer service, communication, and technical skills.
    • Act as technical lead for multifaceted issues that require higher technical knowledge.
    • Continuously set a high standard of professionalism.
    • Assist team Manager with larger tasks and projects on an ad-hoc basis
    • Rotate in the team On-Call Schedule.
    • Palm Beach, FL based role with occasional travel to the Stamford, CT and New York City Offices for training, events, and/or important meetings. 

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in the field related to computer science, information technology, or management of information systems preferred.
    • Minimum of one industry-standard/neutral certification preferred:
      • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Linux Essentials, LPIC-1, CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft MTA, MCP, MCSA, etc...
    • Experience and knowledge of Windows PowerShell and familiarity Linux, or Python
    • Experience and knowledge of Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
    • Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Codecs.
    • Minimum 5 years of computer hardware and software support experience in an enterprise environment. Hedge Fund experience preferred.
    • Thorough understanding of Windows 10 Desktop OS.
    • Strong computer skills necessary in Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, DHCP, and DNS.
    • Knowledge and support of VMware vSphere, RSA, Citrix XenDesktop, and XenApp.
    • Background in designing or implementing IT systems with the latest IT Security practices.
    • Excellent people skills with the ability to handle difficult situations in a trading environment.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
      • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.
      • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
    • Strong Troubleshooting capabilities evidenced by organized, analytical thinking.
    • Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to follow through and follow-up.
    • Strong communication skills. Effective with technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies.
