Backend engineer

Our founders have built multiple unicorn startups, and have scaled early teams from 0 into the hundreds.  We are moving fast and looking for folks who have a bias for action and can help us accelerate.

What we’re looking for:

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of backend software development experience. Our stack is Typescript, NestJs, Python, Node, SQL, Docker.
  • 2-3+ years of database experience with MySQL or a SQL like database
  • Strong user experience intuition and a willingness to learn from users directly.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with ecommerce / amazon FBA
  • Experience with large datasets
  • Previous work in operations or supply chain management
  • Previous work in a health care product environment
