Account Based Marketing (ABM) Lead- Life Science

The Truveta Marketing Team is looking for a rock star marketer to build, grow, and maintain an innovative and high impact account-based marketing engine, driving customer acquisition in line with our ambitions.   

Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country.  Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere.  In person attendance is required for two weeks during the year for Truveta Planning Weeks.

For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time.

This Opportunity

The ABM lead will build 1-to-1 and 1-to-few ABM programs to drive growth across our addressable market. This position will play a critical role in the development and execution of demand generation and customer acquisition / growth strategies.   

The best person for this role has proven capability in experimenting and scaling effective account-based marketing strategies in a B2B SaaS company, along with experience in complementary digital marketing strategies (ex. using an ABM platform to deploy hyper-targeted ad campaigns). The ideal candidate is motivated by impacting revenue, can operationalize effective marketing programs that result in exponential growth, is well-versed in growth marketing technologies and infrastructure, is very analytical and gets energized by working in a dynamic, high growth environment.  


Responsibilities Will Include

  • Working closely with our Business Development Directors and Managers, develop and execute on 1-to-1 marketing strategies for each of our key target accounts, driving net new and expansion opportunities 
  • Working closely with our Comms and Content teams, develop and execute on 1-to-few marketing campaigns, targeting primary verticals / segments in our market 
  • Evaluate and implement effective personalization / account specificity across all our programs  
  • Evaluate ways in which to impact / influence target account opportunities in the pipeline (influence pipeline velocity) in addition to acquisition  
  • Lean into creativity and out of the box thinking to develop programs that deliver against ambitious pipeline and revenue targets 
  • As our Business Development teams scale this year, scale ABM operations and campaigns accordingly 
  • Use web analytics and data to optimize account-based marketing programs, running experimental programs as needed to test new approaches 
  • Communicate expectations, plans, and results with the broader team including the sales team, and other stakeholders    

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing and /or digital marketing, in B2B SaaS or data businesses  
  • Experience marketing to a life sciences audience (biopharma and medical device) 
  • Experience with ABM programs and with ABM tools like Demandbase or 6sense  
  • Deep experience in creating world-class growth and acquisition strategies, mapped to business goals    
  • Experience with product-led growth (PLG) as a plus with a clear point of view on layering PLG on to a sales & marketing led growth motion  
  • Strong analytical skills, with deep understanding of digital channels, marketing technologies and industry best practices  
  • Creative problem solver and nimble executor with the ability to influence and be a team player  
  • Thinks nimbly i.e., in hours, days and weeks!  
  • Travel required to Truveta headquarters 2-3x a year

  • The base pay for this position is $143,000 to $161,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
