This position is based out of our headquarters in the Greater Seattle area.

This Opportunity
In this position, you will build Truveta’s platform and services for researchers in life science.
You will help derive and deliver insights from exabytes of healthcare data, that will accelerate research, drug discovery and treatment delivery. You will harness computing power at a massive scale to process one of the most comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) repositories of the nation’s patient population.
Bring your creativity to this role, to integrate solutions with various partner teams within and outside of Truveta.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage software engineering skills to develop reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions across different teams in Truveta
- Show creativity and eagerness to build integration POCs across the Truveta and partner ecosystems.
- Collaborate closely with partner teams inside and outside of Truveta
- Keep customers first in a DevOps model
- Learn quickly and iterate rapidly in an evolving product landscape
- Strictly uphold the privacy and security of patient data obtained from our healthcare partners
- Drive entire features, mentor junior developers, and cultivate a positive work environment
- Undergo regular training on key topics such as privacy, ethics, and security
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building production quality software in a team setting
- 2+ years of experience working on modern cloud-native platforms and languages (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Proven experience building secure, and scalable software using modern cloud-based paradigms
- Experience in C#, Java, python, or a similar high-level language
- Knowledge of language and interpreter design and implementation is a plus
- Experience with Lexers, Parsers and Abstract Syntax Trees
- Experience in designing distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as Data Bricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop etc.
- Experience building scalable services and integrating with microservices
- Familiarity with designing for SaaS ecosystem
- Experience with knowledge graph is a plus
- Prior work with Azure Data Factory, Function App, Kubernetes is a plus
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field

- The base pay for this position is $148,00 to $227,500. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
