What are you going to do?

Our client is a lifestyle brand and design marketplace connecting you with the world’s best artists to create something one of a kind. They crowdsource graphic design and artwork from a global community of independent artists and sells these as products addressing the $10 billion stationery market, $48 billion art market, and $100 billion home decor market.

Reporting to the Manager of Business Analytics and partnering with a small but mighty group of likeminded analysts, the Analyst will measure and drive the success of consumer and product strategies. A successful candidate will be passionate about e-commerce & direct-to-consumer businesses, comfortable working in a growth-focused and fast-paced environment, have an analytical/quantitative background, as well as hands-on experience with advanced methods and complex datasets. The perfect fit is someone who loves getting into the details in search of meaningful insights while maintaining a holistic view of factors driving the business. We need someone who prides themselves in the accuracy and impactfulness of their work and sits on the sweet spot of business, data, and technology.

  • Perform extensive A/B testing, from creating the experiment design and testing brief, to executing the test, analyzing the results, and providing insights, & recommendations on next steps
  • Collaborate with the product management and engineering to uncover important site engagement insights and conversion drivers
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on large and complex datasets
  • Establish site instrumentation requirements to support business needs, along with Product Management & Engineering
  • Build and enhance self-service dashboards using a mixture of analytical and visualization techniques
  • Rapidly derive actionable insight from data

What will help you succeed

  • SQL
  • Statystical analysis (statsig)
  • 3+ years driving business insight and supporting quantitatively strong and curious business partners, preferably in retail and / or DTC (direct to consumer) industry
  • Experience working with large quantities of raw, disorganized data
  • Experience using reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • Scripting (javascript/python/html/shell)
