We at the Ad Sales Team, at the Truecaller Direct AdSales team build and nurture relationships with brands across the globe. Truecaller is currently one of the largest standalone publishers in India and other emerging markets. 

The team partners with client and agency partners to provide the right solutions using Truecaller Ad products. The team is driven to excel quota figures and grow revenue significantly. The Direct AdSales team works with a range of advertisers to deliver on their objectives using Truecaller’s strong reach and range of custom audiences. The team exhibits a high-performing, collaborative and high-growth culture helping a strong learning curve for all members.

We are seeking a highly experienced Agency Relationship Lead to drive growth and revenue through strategic partnerships with top media agencies. This is an Individual Contributor role which is critical in developing and executing a customer-led strategy, managing engagement strategies, and collaborating closely with advertising leadership to drive revenue growth. As the key liaison for agency partnerships, you will enable agency partnerships, unlock transformative potential through our advertising solutions, and shape the future of our collaborations while working closely with the broader sales team to manage various aspects of these relationships.

What you bring in

  • 12-15 years of experience in agency relationship management within media and advertising, with a minimum of 6-7  years of experience within digital media.
  • Proven track record of managing senior-level agency relationships and driving successful commercial negotiations.
  • Strong network and established relationships with top media agencies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on results and problem-solving.

The impact you will create:

  • Agency Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, senior-level connections with top media agencies, ensuring our partners are fully engaged and aligned with our business objectives.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements with agency partners, securing mutually beneficial terms that drive revenue growth and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Lead and manage the agency partner program, facilitating regular communication, providing support, and ensuring agencies are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless management of agency accounts. While you will be the key point of contact for agency partners, the broader sales team will also play a role in managing these relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance agency partnerships, driving innovation and maximizing the value of these relationships for both parties.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of agency partners, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, agency dynamics, and competitive activities to ensure our agency strategy remains relevant and effective.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Other media  experience (Television, Radio etc)
  • Having across-region experience (North + South)
