As a Senior Finance Controller, you will autonomously manage the ongoing accounting for Swedish companies “ Från ax till limpa” while actively contributing to processes and routines within the finance department.
The impact you will create:
- End-to-End Accounting Management: Manage all accounting activities for the Swedish companies within the Truecaller group, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
- Bookkeeping
- Payables and receivables
- Fixed assets registry
- Intangible assets from projects
- Intercompany transactions within Sweden or with entities in other countries
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Swedish VAT declaration
- Swedish income tax declaration
- Annual reports for the non-public companies
- Recurring statistics reporting to SCB
What you bring in:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proficient in Swedish accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Strong understanding of VAT and income tax laws in Sweden and the EU.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience working with a complex accounting system
- Experience working with Netsuite
