This position is a core part of Brand Communications function focused on building and shaping the brand and our products, identifying new opportunities and growing active users. Nurturing our users’ love and loyalty towards the brand is a key part of this.The ultimate vision for Truecaller is to build trust by making communication more safe and efficient

As a Director of CRM, you will be handling overall consumer experience.You will monitor a user journey from the day the user is onboarded as well as analyse patterns of the app’s feature usage. And, more crucially, you will turn them to power users and quickly convert them to a paying user / subscriber, all while delivering the core objective of usage and retention.

What do we expect from you

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience, preferably from e-commerce, gaming and other high-paced industries with direct consumer engagements.
  • Strong background in customer acquisition, engagement and retention strategies.
  • Good product and engineering knowledge to help work with cross teams.
  • Proven track record of working with a global CRM mandate.
  • Should have led a strong team and have established use cases.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset that can translate data into actionable insights.

What you will work on.

  • Oversee direct communication with our users.
  • Build a user journey that increases retention and usage.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute campaigns to drive active engagement with our users.
  • Partner with other business units when launching new features geared towards improving retention.
  • Subscriptions are important revenue streams for us and hence, you have to drive impactful campaigns to upgrade and cross-sell  different premium packages offered by Truecaller.
  • Use our own core communication channels spanning in-app notifications, emails, newsletters, text messages and more.
  • We create strong marketing campaigns that have a direct impact on our users and hence, you should have the foresight and lateral thinking to ensure it reaches our users and drive high levels of engagement.
