What is the role of a Brand & PR Manager?

The Brand & PR manager job is a mid-level management role for someone with 5-7 years of
experience in the field of Brand Management and PR. The primary role of this job is to create
and maintain a favourable public image for Truecaller using tools, brand-led initiatives and also
working closely with the agency partners. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Skills and Requirements

Have a strong sense of how media and journalism works
Must have their own existing relationships with media
Ability to create and build relationships with media
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be ready to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty
Be reliable, responsible and accurate with great attention to detail
Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
Should definitely be a well read person 


Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing
with a PR, Brand or Advertising specialisation is a must. Master’s/PG degree holders will be a plus.

Experience: Between 5-7 years of quality experience in Public Relations (primary) and Brand Management (secondary) in a start-up, technology or an app based brand.
