YOUR MISSION
True Anomaly is going to GEO! As the Spacecraft Chief Engineer, you will act as the technical authority of the Jackal for GEO spacecraft build, providing assessments of requirements, design, risks, and schedule with the Program Managers and engineering owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify gaps between requirements, design, manufacturing, operations and facility solutions with delivery teams across the lifecycle build.
- Assess and approve technical completion and compliance at major program and element technical reviews.
- Provide innovative design processes and advise teams on solutions for flight and ground architectures.
- Provide engineering leadership and mentorship to coordinate design, analysis and systems engineering processes through development, verification, delivery and operation.
- Oversee production and delivery of Jackal spacecrafts.
- You will report to our Vice President of Space Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10+ years of advanced spacecraft design, development, test and analysis experience.
- Experience in full life-cycle development of spacecraft and/or satellite flight systems.
- Experience designing, deploying and supporting multiple complete flight systems or systems of similar complexity.
- Experience with development in mission and safety-critical environments.
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing spacecraft engineering teams, including organization, management and task prioritization.
- Leadership experience in a space development environment.
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $220,000 - $285,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
