We’re hiring a Director of Sales for the Central region, someone to lead a top-notch sales team, manage revenue-forecasting, exceed sales goals and coach sales professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Structure and streamline your sales team for optimal efficiency
  • Report to and collaborate with the Regional VP of Sales
  • Manage, mentor and coach existing sales team by setting them up for success
  • Be the subject matter expert in programmatic media by keeping up to date with cutting edge industry trends
  • Collaborate with partner management teams to craft sales packages around new and existing programs
  • Recruit and onboard new sales professionals to join the team
  • Leveraging your own network across Central region agency and client direct contacts  to assist in growing your team’s book of business
  • Accurately manage revenue forecasting
  • Identify account growth opportunities by being a thought partner for your team that can provide strategic insight and direction

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience as a sales leader in the digital media and/or publisher space
  • Proven track record of winning and growing business
  • Experience leading and managing a sales team
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills – must have experience presenting to high level clients with complete composure
  • Demonstrated ability to to think strategically, execute against developed account plans and build relationships (both internally and externally with clients)
  • Commitment to excellence — working with hustle, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy
  • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit

Education Requirement

A Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees will be considered.
