Tripadvisor’s distribution team supports the Advertising and Partner Solutions business as the digital expert in branded content and media distribution across paid social, audience extension, content discovery, and email marketing channels. The Associate Manager will lead the execution and optimization of campaigns for our client roster across all partner categories. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager and other social platforms, programmatic DSPs, content discovery platforms, and CDPs to manage the end-to-end process from campaign setup & launch through to performance recaps & analysis. This role should also have a keen understanding of global media planning and buying trends, including pricing nuances, market-specific platforms, and overall industry trends in-region. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results driven candidate who is eager to contribute to a growing piece of the business.
Lead campaign creation, execution, and optimization, ensure delivery and extract insights to fuel renewals and overall industry thought leadership.
Partner with our social buying agency to launch, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
Directly launch, manage, and optimize audience extension campaigns using programmatic ad buying techniques on Google DV360.
Manage distribution media budgets and platform allocation to ensure goals are met at efficient rates.
Ensure creative is to spec, satisfies platform best practices, and drive a constant feedback loop to improve executions.
Facilitate internal workflows and processes to ensure seamless program launch. Experience with Airtable is a plus!
Drive internal knowledge and expertise across paid social, audience extension, content discovery, and email marketing capabilities
Partner with Strategy to identify new areas of opportunity and drive strategic investments to expand and enhance our distribution offerings.
BA/BS degree in Business, Advertising, or equivalent practical experience
3-4 years media planning & buying experience at a reputable advertising agency, publisher, or media company. Expertise in paid social and audience extension/programmatic is a must.
Hands-on experience with executing and optimizing paid campaigns using Facebook Ads Manager, Google DV360, Outbrain, and other buying platforms.
Intimate understanding of media ad landscape, platforms, and expected cost per models for traffic & conversion-based campaigns.
Familiarity with branded content development and distribution.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills required.
Comfortable with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns at once.
