What we do in Business Operations: 

  • The B2B Business Operations team supports the global B2B sales teams with go-to-market readiness to sell new and existing products. We do this through a combination of sales communications, training, sales systems support, sales forecasting, data and analytics. We partner without product management, finance, human resources and engineering to ensure we are able to grow market share and increase revenue through efficient and effective processes. 

  • The Manager of Go to Market will be accountable for the success of the launch of new products & enhancements, map requirements to enable launch and ensure readiness for our sales teams. This role will coordinate with product teams, sales leadership, sales enablement, training and engineering to map out the needs, operation lift an involvement to drive sales process, success and support overall B2B strategy & goals.

What you’ll do:

Responsible for identifying, aligning and agreeing GTM needs & operations processes for Tripadvisor’s B2B sales Orgs across new product launches, enhancements or evolution of business processes. Driving successful cross-functional GTM planning in accordance with defined GTM process roadmap & structures, to support performance against business revenue goals.

Collaborate across B2B business functions & stakeholders to build plans and outline all operational requirements to be delivered across sales, enablement, marketing, analytics, salesforce engineering & compensation teams for successful, quality launches against targets. Providing recommendations and guiding overall program decisions, timelines and expectations that impact B2B strategy. Engaging all relevant stakeholders as necessary and defining all PMO needs within targeted initiatives.

Working with our SMB, Enterprise & Media sales leaders to gain sales feedback & challenges. Identify operational improvements, to enhance and increase sales productivity & performance. 

Role Requirements:

  • Develop effective GTM plans and gain agreement & alignment across the business against key objectives, goals & requirements.

  • Engage with cross-functional business leaders to agree all GTM plan needs & dependencies for from their teams to agree timelines, resource and priorities

  • Build out project views/plans to to provide senior leadership  insight to GTM plans, actions to support, potential risks

  • Identify all operational requirements to support GTM plans & strategies across training & enablement, Rev-Ops, Analytics, Compensation, Systems & Marketing

  • Develop effective sales process alongside sales and business line leaders to support overarching B2B strategy & goals

  • Provide clear requirements & handover to Program Managers to drive and execute all relevant work streams across the business

  • Ensure effective communication across the B2B org on GTM plans & initiatives

 

What we are looking for? 

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, sales operations, product management or business operations. 

  • Analytic skills and ability to provide insight and actionable feedback as a result of these skills

  • Track record of driving collaboration with cross organizational business partners. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Teamwork skills essential 

  • Flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly

  • Grasps the essence of new information; recognizes own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development; seeks feedback

  • Exhibits integrity though fair and ethical behavior toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment
