Tripadvisor is looking for  an experienced leader to drive growth in our Experiences line of business. This role is responsible for the category P&L, partnering with finance, product, merchandizing, engineering, sales, brand and growth marketing to set and deliver on quarterly top-line targets. You will drive operational excellence across the levers that exist in the business today, while innovating and identifying opportunities to deliver growth in new and exciting ways. You will bring a hunger to the category every day and be obsessed with the Experiences industry - both within and outside Tripadvisor. You are data driven and embrace a test-and-learn mindset. You have a bias for action, are motivated by delivering results and have a passion for helping travelers discover and purchase the incredible things they can do across the globe.


  • Lead annual strategic planning process, setting priorities for the business across supply, demand, partnerships and business model evolution.

  • Lead quarterly setting of growth targets and investment prioritizations.

  • Track performance against category KPIs and socialize progress and challenges across the company and senior leadership.

  • Drive business development to grow the category in new ways.

  • Manage existing supply relationship with Viator and set supply strategy.

  • Partner with finance on quarterly forecasts and annual financial plans.

  • Hold functional groups across growth marketing, product, merchandising and data science accountable for established growth targets.


  • >5 years of experience in operational leadership role with preference for historical P&L ownership 

  • eCommerce, affiliate or publishing industry expertise, understanding both market trends and key components of the business 

  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship development, and influencing skills

  • Strong business judgment, with past experience in leading strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, and budgeting 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and in person. Experience communicating with senior executives

  • BS/BA is required, MBA preferred
