ABOUT THE ROLE

TripActions is looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager to help build our influencer programs from the ground up in alignment with the corporate brand, social media and customer advocacy programs.. You’ll be responsible for growing and engaging a highly influential audience for TripActions –– and to promote the TripActions corporate brand and mission across these audiences. You are digitally savvy, content-obsessed and into the latest digital experiences.

You’ll be working closely with our influencer, social media and PR agencies to identify key influencers across travel and technology verticals, and consistently engage with the targeted list. You will also be a key stakeholder in our product marketing, PR, corporate marketing and branding strategies. You are highly creative, brand and mission-driven with a solid understanding of community building, especially within travel, and social media engagement across multiple channels. You will also share traveler feedback internally across multiple teams, including but not limited to the executive, product marketing, hotels & events, traveler and supplier relations teams.

The ideal candidate is a creative powerhouse who is passionate about building and engaging with audiences and communities to drive brand awareness. You maintain a can-do attitude, and work effectively across teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the strategy, roadmap and success metrics for influencer marketing activities across the TripActions brand, products and programs that align to our goals and broader brand marketing initiatives
  • Serve as primary internal subject matter expert for traveler influencer marketing, providing on-going guidance and direction as needed
  • Keep on top of the latest trends, influencers and digital media with an eye for cultural relevance, and thought leadership to cut through the noise
  • Build and maintain an agency relationship and build a network of partnered influencers while managing all contract negotiations and fulfillment
  • Collaborate with the internal creative team and external social media teams on brand creative, talking points, content topics, calls-to-action, brief agencies and influencers, and ensure accountability
  • Accurately maintain budgets and oversee execution of agency work and prioritization of projects
  • Collaborate with all social media counterparts and colleagues to provide needed to provide compelling influencer-led content that will engage fans on our brands’ social media channels
  • Build strong, positive working relationships across different cross-functional teams to ensure timely and well-coordinated planning and deployment of influencer campaigns and content
  • Develop quarterly reports updating Marketing, Communications, and Leadership teams on industry best practices and emerging influencer trends
  • Identify and improve organizational and technological needs to create more efficient process and approach

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years in influencer marketing, PR, digital marketing and/or social media campaigns
  • Strong passion for creative storytelling and bringing the brand to life
  • Strong inclination to drive and nurture online communities
  • Knowledgeable about social media platforms, content strategies, digital savviness and creative
  • Marketing and communication skills a must
  • Strong copywriting and detail orientation necessary
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of influencer marketing efforts
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help create a stronger brand
  • Experience in agency management and influencer management software
  • Collaborative mindset. You thrive in cross-functional environments and have worked with leadership, product, sales and marketing to craft innovative campaigns
  • Self-starter with a penchant for experimentation. You’re always looking for ways to do your job better and you never wait to be told what to do. When you see an opportunity, you jump on it.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize
