ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a PPC expert to join the TripActions Growth team.  TripActions is growing ridiculously quickly and we need you to make our PPC accounts razor sharp to stay ahead of the competition.  You will be a key member of the Growth team and come to work everyday working alongside some of the best and brightest marketers in Silicon Valley.

This role will manage and own daily operations for paid search, display advertising, retargeting, and other paid channels.  You will have the freedom to experiment while being expected to drive huge scale. We are looking for a smart and scrappy marketer who is ready to help set strategy and be our top of funnel tactics expert.  Diving into the deep end will be required! You will become our team’s subject matter expert in what drives top of funnel interest and work very closely with the rest of the Growth team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers.  

You should also be excited about joining a small team that is growing like crazy and has even crazier targets to hit.  You will make processes where there are none. RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Work with SDR team and sales to insure follow up and good lead quality

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing
  • B2B and/or display advertising experience a major plus
  • Proven experience working with sales & SDR teams
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition, and keeps up with current trends.
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • BS/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, preferred but not required
