This position will effectively be able to strategically defuse hiring obstacles, able to see beyond her/his own world, propose pragmatic solutions to the business process and key users.

Hiring Responsibilities

  • End-to-end responsibility to hire mid-senior level employees within the organization, some positions may vary and complex
  • Complete the hiring process with a unique challenge with nearly zero supervision
  • Provide guidance, advice, and direction on hiring strategies or potential solutions to junior team members
  • Show versatility to move between tech and non-tech domain
  • Effectively build a strong network as a key advantage in the future and pragmatically maintaining the network in key areas to be ready to use anytime in future
  • Capable in mitigating negative perceptions and establishing a strong and positive impression on candidates

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Human Resource Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand the business context and identify hiring needs
  • Manage expectations and build a strong and healthy relationship with stakeholders 
  • Actively propose strategies and solutions to stakeholders

Team Management

  • Managing recruiters, leadership/team management responsibilities focusing on the successful achievement of self and team targets (SLA, Volume, Experience) - including assigning jobs and/or responsibilities to relevant team members
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
  • Recommend to the Recruitment Lead potential development plans of relevant team members  and ensure consistent implementation and tracking
  • Propose team related action (hiring/replacing/rotation) to Recruitment Lead

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree holder is preferred with at least 6 to 7 years of relevant experience in agency or in-house recruitment experience for engineering and non engineering roles across all levels, preferably with international exposure.
  • Preferably showing versatility to move from Tech and Non Tech, or a very strong in a specific network portfolio (e.g. Financial Services, Banking, etc.)
  • Proven track record in sourcing and hiring in a fast paced or fast growing environment
  • Independent self starter, and can face hiring obstacles head on
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring a professional level of tact and diplomacy with all levels of management
  • Keep abreast on industry trends and local employment law
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
