SEO is an integral part for marketing growth. The candidate should be proficient with both on page optimization, understand the technical IT related to SEO matter and driven in managing his/her team. Fuel organic growth of Traveloka and achieve dominance in Search Results.

  • Develop SEO strategies with clear prioritized roadmaps to ensure the breakthrough organic traffic growth of every site in our growing network (Especially Vietnam and Thailand market)

  • Spearhead the importance of SEO and adhering to SEO best practices within the organization, provide recommendations for improvement of our sites and oversee the implementation of those recommendations

  • Develop and formulate search engine optimization marketing strategy for formulate Traveloka hotel, alternative accommodation, and Flight+Hotel products SEO roadmap both on page and off page to ensure the highest level of discoverability, engagement and action

  • Analyze organic search performance and identify improvement opportunities

  • Conduct SEO-related research: search intent and keyword research, website audit, competitive analysis (identify organic traffic-building activities of competitors), link profile analysis

  • Keep up with the latest SEO trends

  • Work with multiple different stakeholders to implement SEO initiatives,  with ability to initiate and lead high impact projects and actions across different teams at once                                

  • Act as technical subject expert about SEO within the company

  • Build excellent relationships with teammates, and stakeholders across projects and provide guidance, coaching, knowledge sharing, and present solutions

  • Lead, develop, and grow a team of SEO content professionals

  • Has the critical judgment on addressing complexity in organization - including the design of structures, processes, cultures, programs, habits that can function well within the dynamic organization                                

  • Anticipate future direction and plan and changes by continuous examining situation, opportunity, resource, sequence of development, implications to the company, and independently / able to lead his/her team to reliably answer "what we should do" questions

  • Able to integrate multiple ambiguous system and optimize it

  • Partner with our analytics team to launch dashboards and workflow tools that help track and report against the appropriate key performance indicators that demonstrate the effectiveness of the organization's SEO efforts.

  • Engage with both internal Traveloka SEO COE and outside vendors, agencies and consultants as necessary to bolster the capacity and skills required for world class SEO performance.


  • 3-5+ years of SEO experience working on apps and websites, demonstrating ability to execute and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment;

  • 2+ years managing high-performance SEO or teams, with experience building collaborative teams and coaching/growing team members with proven business results for running enterprise;

  • Experience in leading e-commerce will be an advantage;

  • Deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and best practices for websites in different languages (re: URL structure, hreflang tags, Search Console indexing, etc);

  • Deep technical expertise of HTML/CSS;

  • Experience with SEO reporting;

  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Ahrefs, Botify, GetStat, etc) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio);

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internal and external;

  • Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude;

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with previous experience structuring and performing complex analysis in the digital marketing space to drive efficient growth;

  • Self starter with exceptional creativity,business acumen, data driven, and growth-minded with the ability to influence parties across a matrixed organization;

  • Experience navigating business organizations, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and negotiating optimal solutions across all parties.
