This position manages and leads a team of highly skilled communication designers, copywriters and key account and works with our International Creative Director to help build, support and motivate the growth of creatives with hands-on skills.

MAIN AREAS

  • Be a thought partner for Head of Marketing, and Product Marketing Managers in the Business units for communication strategy

  • Give creative direction and strategy for all communications related to the Business Units and make sure the communication adhere to or push the Brand Identity to evolve.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

  • Coordinate with Creative Director in maintaining the quality and coherence of brand identity across products

  • Represent the Creative Lab discipline and its value to non-creatives in the marketing team and other departments

  • Meet regularly with the designers in order to update various topics ranging from productivity mentoring, teamwork skill development, and processes within / outside Creative Lab 

  • Analyse writer and designer’s strength, weakness, and passions, in order to put them in a team where they can be optimal and productive (maximising their skill and growth)

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and other stakeholders in order to maintain a good process between designers and their stakeholders

  • Recruit new creative talents to the team and actively participate in the hiring process

  • Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment with minimum supervision

  • Ensure that work is delivered to scope, quality, time and budget

  • Roll up your sleeves and willing to contribute as a copywriter or designer when necessary

  • Collaborate and communicate with the ONE Creative Lab team in other offices in Southeast Asia

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years managing a Design team or in a leadership position and a history of strong project management skills, well-versed in data-informed product design and development.(including: negotiation, constructive feedback, presentation, managing expectations).
  • 5+ years as a hands-on Designer (background could range from Visual Communication Design, Art Director, Creative Director, or any other relevant Design disciplines).
  • Portfolio that showcases a deep understanding of the Human Centered Design methodology, willingness to learn and iterate, and passionate about design and storytelling.
  • A deep sense of accountability, adaptability, and embracing ambiguity working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the eCommerce and/or digital travel and lifestyle industries is a bonus
  • Fluency in English communications (both verbal and written).
