As a Senior SEO Specialist you will be responsible for

  • Work alongside Product Marketing, Digital Channels, Product Managers, and Engineers to achieve Traveloka marketing objectives through SEO Marketing end to end initiatives.
  • Actively seeking for improvement areas by closely monitoring the Traveloka and its products' SEO performances (clicks, ranking, market share, transactional metrics, etc) and staying alert for any changes in Traveloka website that may harm SEO.
  • Develop short-term and long-term plans for sustainable yet cost-efficient Traveloka SEO optimization that covers both technical and operational aspects
  • Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineers to implement successful improvement and/or optimization of on-page SEO projects such as technology adoptions, feature enablement, experiments, and issue management.
  • Collaborate with other SEO specialists in identifying consolidation opportunities of Traveloka SEO improvements from all products in Traveloka
  • Proactively observe and analyze latest SEO trends (such as Google Search Ranking Algorithm) while providing recommended action plan in responding to the latest SEO technology developments
  • Identify and monitor critical SEO keywords that affect Traveloka traffic performances while providing action plan in responding to market dynamics
  • Analyze large sets of data and act quickly on trends and opportunities by staying up-to-date on SEO and travel /lifestyle industry in an extremely dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Responsible for Traveloka-brand on-page and off-page SEO operations (such as managing content writers / freelancers in developing content marketing creation, Traveloka main-page on-page SEO improvement).
  • Responsible for managing Traveloka-brand SEO marketing budget and performances

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Formal education min s1 (any major is welcome, but computer science / engineering is preferred)
  • Have 6+ years' experience on managing and/or developing SEO technical improvement as well as developing SEO content
  • Enterprise SEO experience, preferably at a large-scale ecommerce, OTA, or SEO agency with coverage of managing at least 1,000 SEO pages optimization
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO and its relation to ranking algorithms such as crawl, index, meta data, Google Search Algorithm and Ranking System, and other on-page factors is a must.
  • Solid understanding of web analytics tools, especially in SEO performance measurement, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Experienced with SEO research & audit tools such as ScreamingFrog, Ahrefs, and Botify is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HTML & CSS for SEO improvement.
  • A critical thinker with good communication skills, English proficiency, and holds entrepreneurial spirit. 
  • A team player with excellent communication 
  • A solid experience in managing multiple parallel projects at the same time
  • Experienced in running digital performance marketing campaigns is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Self-motivated starter
