Your mission

  • Develop the internal finance systems strategy, create an internal product roadmap to deliver a high data volume, scaleable, real time Financial System with an efficient data pipeline
  • Own our internal finance systems and tools from a requirements and design perspective, working with our in house finance engineers 
  • Work with our finance engineering team to provide requirements and feedback on internal infrastructure solutions to make our internal finance systems more robust, efficient and scalable.
  • Develop the roadmap and manage the well-groomed backlog of new platform initiatives and enhancements to existing implementations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • You will own and track the plans and prioritizations for the team, set team KPIs, facilitate and build efficient processes for them to resolve cross-team incidents and retros
  • Own finance team usage of off the shelf reporting systems such as Planful
  • Coach, develop, support and lead 1-2 direct reports, grow the team across London and Tallinn if required

Things that might describe you

  • You’re hands on, and you’d do everything needed to make the team and the product successful. You get it done
  • You have experience in finance systems and familiarity with core principles of accounting & finance
  • You are a seasoned Product Manager with experience managing end-to-end product development lifecycles from scoping to delivery and post production support
  • You are equally willing to work on technical architecture, finance & reporting requirements and are able to shape and influence thinking on these point
  • You enjoy getting deep into the processing logic. You like to be thorough and understand how things work and all their dependencies in-depth. You can channel this knowledge in bringing clarity to the team over complicated processes
  • You inspire others. You can empower and mentor cross-functional teams with a vision and strategy for non-customer facing teams
  • Data-driven – You can pick up the signal from the noise. You are comfortable to dig deep into data, explore and make decisions based on insights
  • You’re familiar with SQL and can communicate big data / complex data sets clearly
  • You’ve applied agile software development methodologies and tools before

Beneficial (but not mandatory) experience

  • Previous experience in evaluating APIs and capabilities
  • Passion for technical products and understanding of tech stacks used in software engineering
  • Previous leadership experience
