We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate People and Organisational Development (P/OD) Specialist to join our Budapest office, and help to make our onboarding experience one that inspires, engages and primes our Newbies for an amazing start to their careers with Wise! 🚀

Your mission:

Reporting into the People and Organisational Development Lead, this position has the responsibility to support and deliver Company Onboarding (COB) as well as Functional Onboarding (FOB) for regional locations. They will be responsible for facilitating content, analyzing Newbie progress and providing them with support, guidance, and feedback throughout the onboarding experience. P/OD Specialists are also at the forefront of learning experience development for CS, Global Operations and in support of other learning partners within Wise. They are the living engine behind functional onboarding, continuous learning, train the trainer initiatives and any other project that enables and promotes a learning culture within Wise!

  • Be a P/OD brand ambassador, knows all P/OD products and direct employees on learning and development opportunities available to them .
  • Deliver Onboarding as well as general Learning content in-person or virtually as designed and collaborate as appropriate with the other P/OD team members.
  • Together with our Learning Partners, as well as subject matter experts, understand target audiences, learning and performance needs, and develop learning experiences.
  • Design and develop impactful content for various learning formats (including our LMS) and for performance support, for use in instructor-led residential or virtual programs, as well as for on-demand/blended programs, including written content and multimedia, across channels and technology.
  • Coordinate and execute administrative and logistical functions related to Onboarding.
  • Deliver Onboarding as well as general Learning content in person or virtually as designed and collaborate as appropriate with the other P/OD teams.
  • Support the rest of the team (based in London, Tallinn, Budapest, Tampa, Austin and Singapore) to build impactful, high quality development products that help Wisers see career growth opportunities within Wise.
  • Collaborate with the local People teams to gain insight into specific regional/local needs.
  • Record and track all learning using the in-house LMS, and shares relevant data with Product Owners and Leads as required.
  • Help Product Owners and Leads in scheduling, impact measurement and any other tasks related to the product/project.

  • Hands-on experience of designing, developing and delivering impactful learning experiences for different audiences - you’ll develop an understanding of the complete learning cycle, from analysis to evaluation 
  • Excellent facilitation skills - you’ll facilitate often in-person, onboarding Newbies as well as opportunities to facilitate other P/OD products in-person or virtually as designed
  • Worked in a high growth, international company - this’ll help you know how to deal with ambiguity, shifting priorities and adapting development solutions that reinforces our cultural diversity 
  • Collaborating with a variety of partners - you’ll be well-used to working with all types of people, talking 1 to 1 or engaging with a larger groups or working alongside partners at different levels
  • Talent analytics - you love measuring your impact through real goals and outcome based thinking, metrics and KPIs to demonstrate real results for individuals, teams and the company
  • Creative problem solver - we’re not a ‘one size fits all’ kind of business and we’re not looking for off-the-shelf solutions - we need you to think creatively to help us find good solutions to problems that are anything but clear-cut 
  • A desire to step into the training and development space - for example, have you been a guide or mentor to newbies in your team? Have you created any helpful guides or slide decks? Do you ever present in team meetings or sessions? 
  • Ideally, experience with presenting in learning environments - You’re not the star of this show, rather you enjoy engaging with an audience to help them grow and develop 
  • Collaborating with a variety of partners - you’ll be well-used to working with all types of people, talking 1 to 1 or engaging with a larger groups or working alongside partners at different levels
  • Analytical and data driven - you love measuring your impact through real goals and outcome based thinking, metrics and KPIs to demonstrate real results for individuals, teams and the company
  • Creative problem solver - we’re not a ‘one size fits all’ kind of business and we’re not looking for off-the-shelf solutions - we need you to think creatively to help us find good solutions to problems that are anything but clear-cut
