Our Data plays a critical role in shaping the way we build products and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented Data Scientist to work in our Fincrime Analytics team.

 

In this role, your mission will be to turn large amounts of data into valuable insights and get a deep understanding of how people use TransferGo to enable high-impact product decisions that take the business to the next level. You will also be working alongside our Fincrime Teams reporting to our Head of Fincrime Analytics.



Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Senior Data Scientist:

  • Analyse data to extract actionable insights that will help drive product decisions;
  • Help driving business by solving complex analytical problems;
  • Use econometric modelling techniques for forecasting business results or competitor actions;
  • Usa data to uncover how fraudsters are trying to misuse our systems;
  • Build models and tools which help us prevent fraud and other financial crimes;
  • Provide insights and suggestions to fincrime analysts;
  • Present and visualise data in an intuitive manner;
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders;
  • Drive data tracking decisions to build efficient data collection;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams;
  • Be the go-to person for any data question




Here’s what we’d love from our new Data Scientist:

 

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written and oral));
  • 1+ years of experience in similar data scientist role;
  • Strong mathematical / statistical background as well as business oriented mindset;
  • Advanced data analysis skills using SQL, (R, Python or a similar tool is a requirement);
  • Data visualisation skills (Power BI, Tableau or similar);
  • Passionate about working with data to uncover patterns and insights;
  • Capable of tackling very loosely defined problems;
  • Experience in building models would be a requirement, experience in productization of such models would be an advantage.

 

Monthly salary starting from €4000 (gross) depending on the level of experience
