Global People Services Lead

 

Location: London, United Kingdom or Vilnius, Lithuania (office based three days per week)

 

Our People & Culture team plays a critical role in shaping the way we enable growth and success at TransferGo and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for an inspiring and experience Global People Services Lead to work in our People & Culture team. Our People Services team manages all the systems, repeatable practices, processes and compliance as well as the employee experience across our offices and our distributed teams across Europe. This team is all about connecting the dots with our culture, values and employee experience. The best role around we think to drive true impact! 

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Global People Services Lead:

 

  • As an experienced and inclusive leader, you will be helping us to scale our People Services function with infectious energy and best practice 
  • Leading and inspiring an international and distributed team of People Services professionals across Lithuania, Poland and the UK
  • Building strong foundations as it relates to world-class people experience processes including onboarding and offboarding and everything in between
  • Running payroll across Europe including managing relationships with our Employer of Record providers across a variety of countries 
  • Benefits administration including our development program 
  • Leading on all things People systems and systems integration. You love systems! 
  • People Analytics. For us, data is at the heart of everything and you understand the narrative behind the numbers 
  • Work effectiveness: Office / Facilities management across our physical offices in the UK, Lithuania and Poland as well as making sure our distributed teams are looked after. This includes a number of events including our annual birthday party and summer office events. 
  • Leading and inspiring on our annual Culture Calendar: What does great look like?
  • Building strong and trusting partnerships across the People & Culture team (Talent Acquisition, People Partners, People Rewards) as well as major stakeholders such as Finance and IT. 

 

You’ll report directly to our Chief People Officer.



Here’s what we’d love from our new Global People Services Lead:

 

  • Experienced People Services / People Operations professional “master of all trades” with multiple years of experience, ideally in an international set-up across Europe
  • You have seen “what great looks like” in a bigger company and bring scale-up experience with you
  • A passion for building a slick and impactful employee experience engine across borders. People as a Product? AI? People Analytics? World-class experience? You’ve got it! 
  • Driving all things culture, values, and employee experience with well-thought-through processes and initiatives 
  • A customer-first mindset 
  • They enjoy working across different cultures and understand how to navigate cultural styles, curious by nature and always lead with empathy 
  • Calm and measured leader, able to juggle multiple plates at once with confidence and with a smile 



And if you can also do this stuff, even better: 

 

  • Brings AI experience scaling up all things People Services
  • Experience across Eastern and Northern Europe an advantage 
  • Has worked with HiBob (our HRIS) and knows their way around pretty well 
  • UK visa / immigration experience a bonus 
  • Is familiar with the Employer of Record landscape
