Here’s what you’ll be doing

 

  • Manage the AML program's tasks on a group level, acting as the representative of the MLRO when decisions need to be made as per relevant decision matrix.
  • Continue development and implementation of comprehensive AML related policies aligned with regulatory standards and internal requirements.
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses and maturity assessments to identify areas for improvement in anti-money laundering & financial crime prevention programs.
  • Ensure QA teams perform QA activities as per applicable policies and procedures, approving QA programs, and overseeing compliance with quality assurance standards, requesting the necessary actions during the monthly QA team reporting.
  • Review and approve operational procedures related to AML and sanctions compliance to ensure operational changes adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage company wide consultations on AML, Fincrime compliance efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of compliance issues and appropriate actions.
  • Manage group-level expectations, collaborating closely with the company's MLROs to align compliance efforts with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide inputs into annual training programs, supporting relevant teams when expertise is needed, and delivering training to enhance compliance knowledge and performance.

 

You’ll report to our MLRO Europe.



Here’s what we’d love from you

  • Passion for navigating complex regulatory landscapes and proactive leadership skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively and being a pro-active leader
  • Proven experience in the financial sector, fintech, or banking industry in AML Compliance
  • Expertise in regulatory requirements interpretation and drafting policies
  • In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian AML regulations with awareness of regulatory updates
  • Proficiency in both Lithuanian and English languages for clear communication
  • Experience handling complex AML cases, understanding financial crime risks and being able to provide necessary guidance to the operational teams



And if you can also have this stuff, even better: 

  • Law degree
  • CAMS or ICA certifications
