The overall production leader for a project or account in charge of internal production, vendor management, and client services management. This person helps to lead the business and will flex where needed to get the job done.

This role requires at least 3 years of experience as an associate or junior producer creating video assets.

Please note this position requires on-site/in-office work in Woodland Hills, California. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Works autonomously to come up with a plan and the resource requirement to achieve a desired outcome on a project or task that they have never been assigned previously. 
  • Navigates and leads a team through a nebulous project assignment while maintaining their composure and professionalism to reach the goals of their assigned project.
  • Ensures work is done to the highest level of quality, on time and within budget. 
  • Leads cross functional work streams and vendor management
  • Innovates and troubleshoots production issues as they arise
  • Serves as primary contact with the client for their business needs at DBC. 
  • Responsible for the overall output of the team and successful completion of the project.
  • Manage schedules, and day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Innovate and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
  • Provides leadership, mentorship, and training to team members.
  • Responsible for the team's overall output and successful project completion including quality control ensuring videos meet quality standards, including resolution, frame rate, legal requirements, and audio quality.
  • Assist in developing content strategies and schedules for game capture.
  • Stays up to date with the industry, trending games, and upcoming releases.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues related to game capture, editorial, motion graphics, sound, and finishing.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding project timelines and goals.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, including schedules, milestones, and issues encountered.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film, multimedia production, or communications) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of industry experience producing trailers or advertising assets in entertainment or gaming. Gameplay trailers are preferred.
  • Experience managing teams and using project management tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Team, Slack, Airtable
  • Strong passion for video games and a good understanding of gaming culture.
  • Proficiency with video games, video, and static digital assets specifications and nomenclature.
  • Video and photo editing skills are a plus (knowledge of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc. is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Available to work long hours when needed, especially under tight deadlines.
