ABOUT THE ROLE

Trailer Park Group seeks a Freelance Social Producer to join our growing integrated marketing division. This candidate will help our teams through the production of various social media campaigns for a leading streaming entertainment client at Trailer Park Group. Key attributes of a successful candidate for this role include reliability, proactiveness, organization, and a desire to help drive the creation of beautiful, engaging, and bleeding-edge work for our clients.

As a Freelance Social Producer, you will be responsible for successfully developing social media campaigns, working closely with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget according to defined scope, timeline, and cost parameters. This role also interfaces heavily with our streaming entertainment client and internal teams on global social media campaigns.

Please note that this freelance position will be paid via w2 payroll by Trailer Park Group.  This role requires candidates who live within commutable distance to Hollywood, California.  Some in-office work will be required.

IMPORTANT CALL OUTS:

- This role requires candidates who have worked as a Producer on Social Media campaigns.
- This position seeks only those candidates who have worked on entertainment client campaigns - specifically, streaming television/film/original content clients preferred.
- This role starts as soon as possible, so quick availability is helpful.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work with the Social Media and Strategy team to complete project scoping, sizing, and pricing estimates
  • Develop, maintain, and effectively executive project plans throughout the life of assigned projects, according to established procedures, channels, and success expectations
  • Create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associated resource requirements
  • Plan for and acquire appropriately skilled project resources to complete assigned tasks and contribute to establishing a project vision
  • Ensure needed assets and resources are identified to successfully meet client expectations
  • Develop and maintain all project deliverables, including project charters, budgets, project plans, issue logs, status reports, change orders, etc.
  • Assure that projects are completed according to schedule and within budget
  • Manage and report the project financials, including weekly resource hours and overall project budget burns
  • Forecast, track, and manage project budgets, POs, and invoices
  • Participate in developing and maintaining all legal documentation, e.g., Statements of Work, Change Order Requests, etc.
  • Lean in as client point-of-contact for all project-related issues and communicate client business needs to the internal team

 ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a social & digital producer in an agency environment
  • Entertainment client experience (television/film/streaming) required
  • Experience in working across multiple social & digital mediums, including social platforms, paid digital media, web, app, and AR spaces
  • Ability to think outside the box and consistently bring fresh ideas and approaches to new and existing client projects
  • Solid understanding of all social platforms and functionality of, but not limited to (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Snap, Twitch, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of project management processes, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations, and run team meetings
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and communication skills

COMPENSATION:

Please note that the below range is payable via day rate (not hourly).  Also note that all freelance work is paid via W2 payroll at Trailer Park Group.

Daily rate pay range for this position is below. If your requirements fall outside of the below pay range, we still encourage you to apply.
