What You'll Do:

The Social Media Specialist is a crucial part of the Brand Marketing team. This position requires a dedicated and driven individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Their responsibilities include executing Brand initiatives on social, crafting branded copy and managing community sentiment across all Traeger social posts, review platforms & paid content. Engaging with customers and brand influencers, assisting with the coordination of and dissemination of Social Media strategies, escalating risk to appropriate departments and ensuring timely follow up is key. They will also assist with planning, managing a calendar and assisting with team projects and shoots as needed. This role is an integral part of the Social Media team and is responsible for managing our MEATER community and their needs through meaningful/consistent management of channel inbounds. This individual will be working cross-functionally with our marketing and customer service teams to ensure content has been addressed within required windows is crucial.

How You'll Help Us Win:

  • In collaboration with the Social Media Manager, executes all MEATER social media initiatives and core strategies
  • In collaboration with the Customer Service team, obsesses over our consumers and individuals who interact with our brand through comments, messages, and User Generated Content (“UGC”) on all Social Media channels daily and in a timely manner.
  • Is on-call Mon-Sun 24/7 as needed to monitor and manage paid/organic social media content
  • Ensures that all social media channels are optimized on a frequent basis and makes suggestions for continuous improvement in an ever-changing digital environment.
  • Owns MEATER FAQ knowledge base to ensure consistency with comms to consumers around product, service and the business.
  • Assists with campaign and content planning, with the Social Media Manager and Brand Team.
  • Assist with monitoring website product reviews through Bazaarvoice and addresses relevant product reviews with CX on partner eCommerce platforms
  • Assists with Social Media Giveaways, insuring promo orders are placed within the defined window.
  • Responsible for shipping product out for giveaways or promo initiatives
  • Continually reviews and analyzes process and procedures and constantly looks for ways to improve upon them.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 1-2 years of Marketing, Copy, or Professional Social Media experience preferred
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly collaborative, team-driven work environment
  • Creative Writing skills
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Flexible with availability
  • Eagerness to learn and continually build the MEATER brand
  • Background or interest in culinary industry a plus
