What You'll Do:

Our Traeger Digital team is looking for a Director of Digital Analytics with a borderline obsession with data, a love for digital analytics and a passion for finding stories in data that will help our team deliver the best experiences for our customers and scale our growth. You’ll dive deep into our acquisition and campaign data to uncover actionable insights to measure and improve customer LTV, optimize our attribution model, and improve our conversion funnels thru experimentation. This role will work alongside Marketers, Product Management, Data Engineering, agency partners and our Finance team to deliver business results and grow our customer base.

How You'll Help Us Win:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for digital analytics with in-depth knowledge of all marketing-related data sources and their applications across a variety of channels and capabilities
  • Partner with Digital leadership in setting and delivering strategic frameworks to measure and monitor digital performance and define key metrics
  • Lead technology & strategy solution engagements across multi-functional workstreams; customer data platform (Segment), multichannel marketing platform (Braze), data onboarding and activation, and analytics planning and execution
  • Manage data governance and event tagging implementation (GTM), in partnership with IT, to audit tagging process to ensure accurate data collection
  • Partner with centralized Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams to manage necessary data pipelines, QA digital data sets to ensure accuracy, and build data models for other analysts to use or to feed to data visualization tools
  • Manage relationships with our analytics vendors, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Segment, Monetate, and Quantum Metrics; scope and negotiate contracts for existing or new tools/vendors
  • Ensure digital tracking tools are abiding by best practices, protecting PII, and are CCPA and GDPR compliant
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to design, implement and measure performance of A/B tests
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide reports and dashboards with actionable insights for the Digital team using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Domo, Data Studio and Excel
  • As the Digital Analytics team grows, you will build and then manage a team who you will lead in executing the above responsibilities

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 8+ years of experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • 8+ years of experience using dashboard and reporting tools such as Domo and Tableau
  • 4+ years of experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling using tools such as R, STATA, SAS, Python, etc
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience at consumer ecommerce companies preferred
  • An excellent communicator who loves to share findings and actionable insights
  • Passion and pride in doing great work and a desire to make a strong impact on the overall business
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and within a team
  • A love of data and attention to detail - highly organized and analytical
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to constantly changing platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience managing a Digital Analytics team
